Chrysler Health Care

The Chrysler Group LLC Health Care Program is required to obtain Social Security Numbers (SSNs) for all covered dependents (wives, husbands, children and step-children) in order to achieve compliance with Federal reporting requirements.

A letter will be mailed to all employees with dependents who will be age 1 and older by September 30, 2011.

Employees will be directed to call Benefits Express at 1-888-456-7800 or logon to Dashboard Anywhere and click on Your Benefit Resources to add the SSN to the dependent's record.

Ongoing, a permanent process has been implemented to make sure that all dependents have SSNs on file by the time the child is age 1.

A letter will be sent to the employee two months prior to the month of the child's first birthday. Example: Child born in December 2010, a letter will be sent to the employee October 2, 2011. If they have not responded by November 1st, a reminder letter will be sent.

Health Care coverage will be dropped November 30th if the SSN is not provided.
